Pevious Issues

Brief History

The Liaison Committee was formed in 1966. It was based on Shop Stewards Committees, Workplace Branches, Trade Union Branches, District and Regional Committees, and Rank and File Trade Union representatives.
For over 30 years the Liaison Committee and those associated with it have fought against income policies, anti-Trade Union laws and unemployment.
The importance of the Liaison Committee and its continuing work with, and in support of, the TUC and Labour Party must be maintained and improved.
